Unamnned drone use for offshore survey and inspection work is a newly developed field. Given our experience and expertise in the offshore surveying industry, we are grounded in the needs for aerial imagery for supporting surveying and inspection applications. Geophysical Survey Support

Real-time aerial imagery can be used to support geophysical surveys by identifying potential obstacles such as obstructions, fishing gear, and protected species observed in the survey area. The hazards can be monitored in real-time to ensure the safety of the vessel, crew, and deployed instrumentation while underway. Any incidents can be documented using aerial imagery to provide a full view otherwise not possible at the water level.

Installation Inspections and Repairs

The use of drones for inspecting wind turbines, oil rig platforms, and other structures is both time and cost efficient. This also permits a safer working environment in which no personnel are required to traverse potentially dangerous locations on these structures. The aerial imagery can be used to faciliate management plans and document repairs in real-time.
